About Us

The Faith Television Network was founded in 1985 as a ministry to the Shenandoah Valley by Ruarch Associates, LLC managing member, Dr. Arthur Stamler and his wife, Virginia (Ginny).

The single original station, which barely covered Shenandoah County, has grown to a network of stations covering Frederick, Clarke, Warren, Shenandoah, Page and Rockingham counties with additional coverage in Maryland, West Virginia and Washington, D.C.

In February of 1998, WAZT was honored as Television Station of the Year by the National Religious Broadcasters.

The station has remained an advocate for community health through ministry, award winning local news and information programs and community involvement.

In April of 2015, WIAV-CD in Washington, DC was added to the network, increasing the coverage area to a population of nearly 4 million people in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland and Washington, DC.

Today, the staff operates from studios at Dominion Square in Winchester, VA.
